The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has sent experts to Botswana from June 3rd to 6th, 2024, to collaborate with local stakeholders on developing radiobiology programs. This initiative aims to build human capacity for the upcoming Botswana Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology
The expert mission, part of the national IAEA project BOT1002, is coordinated by Professor Hillhouse and Dr. Kureba. It involves the participation of research staff from the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology at BIUST.
We were honored to welcome Prof. Ans Baeyens from Ghent University, Belgium, and Prof. Primoz Pelicon from the Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, who paid a courtesy visit to our Vice Chancellor yesterday morning.
