CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS BOTSWANA
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office invites applications for the Chevening scholarships Botswana. These fund professionals from Botswana who wish to study in the UK for a master’s degree in any discipline. Applicants must be citizens of Botswana and intend to return to their home country at the end of the period of study for a minimum of two years. They must hold a bachelor’s degree, and have completed at least two years’ work experience before applying. In most cases candidates must not have previously studied in the UK with funding from a UK government-funded scholarship. However, if the candidate has previously studied under a UK government-funded scholarship, they may be eligible to apply five years after completion of their initial scholarship. In addition, applicants must showcase their choice of three different UK master’s courses prior to applying and they must meet the Chevening English language requirements. A full scholarship comprises payment of tuition fees, a monthly stipend, travel to and from the applicant’s country of residence, an arrival allowance, a homeward departure allowance, the cost of one visa application, and a travel top up allowance.
Applications are invited between 6 August and 1400HRS, 6 November 2018.
