The Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) to celebrate the achievements of its ninth (9th) cohort of graduands billed for Friday 20th of September 2024 from 0745hrs to 1230hrs at its campus in Palapye. The theme of the Class of 2024 Graduation ceremony is “Bridging Academia with Industry: Navigating Entrepreneurial Excellence in STEM”.
The Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, His Honour, Mr. Slumber Tsogwane will be the Guest Speaker during the ceremony as the University confers a total of 335 degrees; 267 Bachelors, 47 Masters and 21 PhDs to graduands from Science, Engineering and Technology and Mathematics (STEM) academic disciplines.
The Graduation ceremony will be live streamed so that the Public, Graduands families and friends unable to be in attendance can be able to view the ceremony. The live-stream link will be availed by 20th September 2024 . Facebook page and YouTube Channel. Due to limited seating capacity at the BIUST Multipurpose Hall, a designated overflow area, the BIUST Auditorium will livestream the proceedings to guests without invitation cards for the Multipurpose Hall.
